African Water Bracelet

This water bracelet features beautiful blue beads and a coptic cross. The blue glass beads called Gazi beads are from West Africa. These beads were used historically as trade beads back in the 1400 and 1500’s. The Coptic Cross is from Ethiopia, and it represents the Coptic Christians who were the first Christians after Christ’s death. They fled to Ethiopia and are thought to be the keepers of the Arc of the Covenant.

These are handmade on Project Canaan in Swaziland.  A portion of the profits from our Water Bracelet go to fund our Water Project, which will help establish water security for Project Canaan by bringing water down the mountain through a pipeline.  This is a life saving purchase!
