The African Water Bracelet features beautiful blue beads and a Coptic cross.
The blue glass beads, called Gazi beads, are from West Africa. These beads were used as trade beads in the 1700's and 1800’s.
The Coptic Cross is from Ethiopia. It represents the Coptic Christians who were the first Christians after Christ’s death. They fled to Ethiopia and are thought to be the keepers of the Arc of the Covenant.
These bracelets are handmade at Project Canaan in Swaziland. A portion of the profits from each Water Bracelet goes to fund our Water Project, which will help establish water security for Project Canaan by bringing water down the mountain through a pipeline. This is a life saving purchase!
